There are so many incredible events around the world, spanning from conventions, to festivals, and expos where like minded individuals who share a love for comics can explore, meetup, and have fun. 

Then for those who prefer a more academic approach, there are plenty of seminars, where experts in their field come together for lectures, panel discussions, and exchanging of information in what their latest findings and thoughts on sequential art.
